About sindhi.me
A quiet social network with one job: help a Sindhi find other Sindhis in their city.
The belief
Partition and migration scattered the Sindhi community across the world. Most of us carry two anchors — the village our family is from, and the city we live in now. Facebook and Instagram never ask about the first, and never answer the second: is anyone else here?
sindhi.me makes both visible in one place. When you see another Sindhi in your city, you also see that their family is from three villages over from yours. That context turns a stranger into someone worth saying hi to.
What success looks like
If two people start chatting and never meet, that's a success. If they meet for chai, that's a bonus. If a whole city forms a group off the back of it, that's the dream. We don't push any of these — we make all of them easy.
What we don't do
- No feed, no algorithm, no streaks, no follower counts.
- No asking about, searching, or filtering by caste or faith — ever.
- No selling your data, no third-party ad trackers.
- No accounts for under-18s.
Values
Warm, plain, and respectful. The Sindhi community is Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and secular — the app treats all as one community by default. Women can turn on a mode that only shows them to, and only shows them, other women.
